Information We Collect

• Account information: your email address and display name, and, if you sign in with Google or Apple, the basic profile details those services share with us.
• Content you provide: the questions you ask, your chat history, and any profile photo or other files you upload.
• Device and usage data: device type, operating system, push notification token, IP address, and app interaction data. Our website uses Google Analytics.
• Messages to us: your name, email address, and message when you contact us.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide, maintain, and improve our services
• To generate AI responses to your questions
• To save your chat history so you can return to it
• To respond to your inquiries and support requests
• To monitor usage trends and analyze app performance

AI Processing

Spirit Speak AI answers your questions using third-party large language models. When you send a message, the text of your question, along with relevant earlier messages in the same chat, is transmitted through our servers to the AI provider for the model you select. Current providers are:

• OpenAI (privacy policy)
• Anthropic (privacy policy)
• Mistral AI (privacy policy)

We send these providers only what is needed to generate a response. We do not send your email address or account details with your questions. These providers process your messages under their commercial API terms, which state that API inputs are not used to train their models by default. Providers may keep messages for a limited time for abuse monitoring as described in their policies.

Please do not include sensitive personal information, such as health, financial, or identification details, in your questions. AI-generated responses may be inaccurate or incomplete and are not a substitute for pastoral, professional, or other qualified advice.

Third-Party Services

We use Google Firebase to provide sign-in, data storage, file storage, and push notifications. We also use Google Analytics, Google Sign-In, Sign in with Apple, the Apple App Store, and the Google Play Store. These providers may collect information under their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.

Data Retention and Deletion

We keep your account information and chat history for as long as your account is active, so you can continue using the app.

You can delete your account at any time from within the app:

1. Open the Spirit Speak AI app.
2. Go to your Profile page.
3. Tap Delete Account and confirm.

You may also request deletion of your account and all associated data, including chat history and uploaded files, by emailing us at [enable JavaScript to view our email] from the email address on your account. We will complete the request within 30 days. We may retain limited information where required by law. Data already processed by an AI provider is subject to that provider's retention policy.

Data Security

We implement commercially reasonable measures to protect your personal information, including encryption in transit. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will take steps to delete it promptly.
